TEC Thermostat Controllers

Thermostat Controllers Ideal for Commercial Heating & Cooling Equipment

At Johnson Controls, we’ve designed our TEC Thermostat Controllers specifically to control common commercial heating and cooling equipment. TEC Controllers are made for wall mounting in a controlled space. These configurable-only controllers require no programming as each model is engineered to control a specific type of equipment. Multiple TEC models are available to cover a wide range of applications, like packaged rooftop units (with or without economizers), heat pumps, pressure-dependent VAV boxes, local hydronic reheat valves, and zoning equipment.

Features and Benefits

TECs feature an onboard keypad and a backlit liquid crystal display, providing a clear interface for setting configuration parameters, adjusting setpoints, viewing status, and scheduling occupied and unoccupied periods.
TECs provide stand-alone control over the equipment but can also be networked together (via BACnet MS/TP, LONWORKS, N2, or wirelessly) with network engines for coordinated, system-wide control and remote access.
Some TEC models feature Passive Infrared (PIR) technology occupancy sensors that provide energy savings without additional installation time and cost.
