Johnson Controls manufactures several types of controllers, each with a specific function that correlates to various features of access control systems.

The S321-IP Intelligent Network Controller incorporates advanced technology and flexible features for small-to-large security installations. It uses standard IP communications protocol and is capable of monitoring and controlling two fully configured doors. The modular design allows for easy installation and can be mounted on a flat surface, DIN rail, or specified UL Listed enclosures.

The S321-DIN Intelligent Network Controller incorporates advanced technology and flexible features to meet a wide range of security requirements. It uses standard RS-485 communications protocol and supports up to two doors per unit. The modular design allows for easy installation, either on a flat surface, DIN rail or in UL Listed enclosures.

The CK721-A is an advanced, intelligent network controller capable of handling high volume, high-speed traffic with host security management systems. Easily integrated with Johnson Controls P2000 software, the CK721-A retains many of the same capabilities as the CK720 and can be programmed remotely or through its own interface.

The CK722 controller is an advanced, intelligent network controller, which utilizes the Metasys Control Engine (MCE) to provide highly configurable control applications. Easily integrated with Johnson Controls P2000 software, the CK722 handles high volume, high-speed traffic. The CK722 performs control applications based on the objects defined in Metays MCE.
