Performance Contracting for Technologies

There are a variety of reasons why organizations enter into performance contracts. Some are trying to achieve energy and water savings. Others are seeking improved performance of their infrastructure. 

For contracts that guarantee energy savings, a service and maintenance agreement is included with the performance contracts. Johnson Controls monitors and verifies the amount of savings. The service agreement maintains and optimizes the equipment to achieve the energy savings. Some projects may qualify for the Johnson Controls Facility Performance Indexing Service, an automated measurement and verification tool that provides real time monitoring and optimization. 

For some systems, Johnson Controls will go one step further and guarantee the technical performance depending on the situation. For municipalities, we can guarantee that water meters are accurately recording water usage.
